Is the site accessible for disabled visitors?

The site is a large field so the ground is not flat, however we have many disabled visitors who find it is accessible to visit the show and enjoy the day. Weather is obviously a factor that can make visiting in a wheelchair or mobility scooter more difficult if the ground is soft due to heavy rain fall.  The site is well drained so usually it isn’t a problem.

Carers

Carers can gain free entry on the day, so that one carer will be able to enter the show, when accompanying a visitor in need of their support.

In order for the carer to gain free entry, one of the following documents will need to be presented to the Gate Staff:

> A valid blue badge
> Allowance book or letter confirming entitlement to Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
> Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance Letter of Award
> Incapacity Benefit books or confirmation letter or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or confirmation letter
> Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) or BD8

Parking is free and we have ample space.
